This Idea started in 2022 with the aim of becoming operational in 2026 in the Kenya Highlands area
In Kenya, smallholder farmers are responsible for nearly 80% of all milk produced but they have traditionally been challenged by a lack of infrastructure and experience, which threatens access to safe and nutritious food in the country.
Faced with imports of milk from other African counties and with environmental degradation, the goal of the Kenya Milk Project is to secure dairy supplies through the ecological intensification of milk production, so help to improve the situation and meet the growing demand for milk and dairy products
With your help, Kenya Milk Project wants to open a modern dairy farm to guarantee an annual production of approximately 500,000 liters of milk and plan training sessions for local farmers about cow health and dairy cow nutrition
Dairy is a building block of life
